The Wynde Gallery was created to showcase the work of local artists and community in a space that honors the historied eccentricity of the San Francisco Arts Scene.
We seek to be a community foothold in the Bay Area arts scene, and we welcome you to visit us and engage with the fresh and exciting art we seek to share - as well as the events we host in our beautiful space, both indoors and out in our lush backyard garden.
A little about our name:
The name Wynde is derived from a staple of SF architecture - it is a little known term for a narrow alleyway between houses. Pronounced the same as a winding path, we found it suiting as an artist collective finding its way in the everchanging landscape that is our home in The Mission.
